Our international orientation events are a great way to meet people during your first couple of weeks. Our Students’ Union also has over 80 societies where you can find others that share your interests.

International students can choose to have a Culture Connect mentor — a Sheffield Hallam student who helps you adapt to life in the UK and answers your questions.

BECOME A STUDENT AMBASSADOR

Earn while you learn by mentoring new international students. Welcome others to the university, share your experiences and lead social trips all over the UK.
